Darrel or one of his compadres at Wayne's drives me to the nearby hospital and picks me up at the end of the day.

My wife and I both take our cars to Wayne's and are always satisfied with thier work and friendly attitude. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Wayne and Bev Booth and their son, Darryl, run the best repair shop in Roanoke. For almost twenty years they have taken care of my cars (and the cars of my daughters) in an honest, caring manner. The Booths treat their customers like family and are always eager to help in any way. They treat us all with respect and are especially helpful to their female customers in explaining exactly what they are doing and not making us feel foolish about cars. And the best part is that they are fantastic mechanics! I have sent many friends here and all have become steady customers and have expressed their appreciation for at last finding a shop in which they can have confidence. They specialize in imported cars but repair all models.

The Bus does run nearby but who needs it when they will take you to where you need to be. They do not mind that I bring my own oil and filters when doing oil change. This is only in part because of cost of their oil I also often want different weigh oil. They do what is really needed and often do things that they do not charge for or tell me about. Most offten adjusting brakes or clean battery terminals. They pay attention to det

I admit it. I'm a theater geek, from a deep gene pool of mechanically-impaired individuals on my father's side. Wayne's came recommended to me by a former roommate's father, who is an engineer and knows all things mechanically-related. I can trust the Booths to take care of me and my car -- they'll tell me what needs to be fixed, how much it will cost, and whether or not it can really wait. They're good people, and yeah, they'll cart you to your office if you're there first thing in the morning -- and they are a short hop from a bus stop on the way back. They're good folks, and while they don't keep chain store hours, it's worth it to have them baby my car -- the prices are reasonable, and I don't see the chain stores driving me to work, either. Two big thumbs up from the drama girl!

They were just wonderful. They worked my car into their schedule as soon as they could and when they knew that they would have the part on hand. The work was done in a timely manner. They were simply, nice. I do not think that they were over-charging, however, if they charged a little more than someone else for the same job; I would pay more, because of their willingness to answer all my questions with care and patience.

All of these comments are right on target; best place in Roanoke to take your car.

Wayne, Bev, Kenneth and Daryl have been taking care of our farmilies cars for a decade. Pickups, and SUV, an Accord and even a new prius they handle it all and keep up on the vehicles. Not only what needs attention currently, but also what may be coming around the corner. Bev does a great job of breaking any bad news and they often give us a timely ride (much more timely than a dealership van) when needed. 3 thumbs up!

Wayne, Bev, Kenneth, Darrell, & Jason Booth are an exceptional family, along with their professional service technicians. They have serviced all of our "little cars" (as Bev calls them) over the last 20 years. They are honest, extremely knowledgable of their profession, and reasonably priced. We've heard others say they are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. When our cars where dropped off in the morning, they were always ready by the afternoon, except on maybe two occasions where extensive work required an overnight stay, but never longer. Superior workmanship is having a job done right the first time and not having to return for repeat service. We are relocating to Nashville, Tn., and would love to take this family with us. When we want a job done right and reasonably, we will "drive the extra mile" back to Roanoke just for Wayne's exceptional service. They just don't make good auto mechanics like this anymore!!!

I lived in Roanoke for 18 months, found Wayne's through your website, and found it to be just as described. I'm an older woman alone, and Bev and the gang took great care of my 2001 Mazda and when it died one Friday at my storage locker, they sent a flatbed towtruck to pick it up, found my transmission cable had broken, had to order it from out of town, but got it fixed by close of business that same day. The repair cost was reasonable for the work done (had to remove the dashboard). They treat people like family, and I always knew my car woes were correctly repaired. I don't live in Roanoke anymore, but wish I did or could find a "Wayne's" near me.

I concur with all the good things the other reviewers have written. They are honest, fair, competent and nice. They will persist at finding and repairing a unique problem. There's usually some kind of candy or cake for customers to partake of if they wish. Family owned (the Booths)and operated. Great place.
